Reality stars are really moving in the magazines these days. A few years ago I wouldn’t dare go after any of those reality stars because they might have had a good name on T.V. but in the magazines they weren’t running, that definitely not the case nowadays.
I missed the boat on building relationship with a few of the reality stars that I was around in the beginning that have gotten very huge of the years, and I say this because in the paparazzi world, if you establish a relationship with a celebrity before they get real big, your guaranteed to get good photos of them doing incredible stuff that nobody else will get. Here’s an example, my friend Brian Prahl built a relationship with Kim Kardashian right in the beginning when she was trying to become famous, he would take tons of photos of her and send them out to our agency and hopefully they would make a few magazines. Whenever he would get a photo that ran in the magazine of her, he would then either call Kim or Facebook her letting her know what magazines she was in. What this does is, it shows the celebrity that you can help get them famous if they just listen to you.
We as paparazzi basically know what photos have a good chance of making the mags, so we can tell the celebrity where we should photograph them, and also what to wear, or what to be doing. Needless to say, the relationship that Brian obtained with Kim has helped him make major money. If you think I’m lying, Google his name, Brian Prahl and all those beach photos of Kim, are always done by him, she even flew him to Dubai with her last year and this dude has stayed at other Celebrities homes taking jet ski photos and anything else Kardashian related.
So here is someone I’ve built a relationship with that I think is talented and will get big one day. She’s Evelyn Lozada of Basketball Wives. Last year I spoke to her and let her know that I believed she was gonna get big, and I say this because I honestly believe in the reality world of T.V. the girl does have talent. She just received her own show of her and fiance Ochocinco on VH1 that will start shooting next month. I talked to her this week and I’m setting up something so I can head down to Miami one of these days and put together a good set of photos of her on Miami Beach. Just to make something clear, nothing sells better than Beach photos!
